LA FERIA.
Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina; February 2020, just before the Covid-19 pandemic started changing our lives, including how we get our essentials.
“La Feria” - as it’s been called for ages - is a local nomad street market selling fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, chicken, meat, eggs, ‘fiambres’(ham, mortadella, salami etc) and cheeses only. No processed/ ready to eat meals sold here. You can also find plants, and some clothes.
Each day of the week they park their trucks on scheduled-authorised streets and bring not only their products but their stories and smiles to neighbours for a whole morning.
Amazing, hardworking, noble, authentic and beautiful people.
